What is there at New Castle and what's to do?
Number one, just get away from it all and relax in this cozy little apartment.
Within Downtown:
In the Rock Saloon Building, below the apartment, shop Antiques Etc. and New Castle Books.
Other shops and businesses are within three blocks of the apartment.
There are four restaurants downtown within two blocks of the apartment.
The Post Office, Town Hall, Town Recreation Center and Library all within 2 blocks of the apartment. Within Town:

We are only minutes from Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Land and the White River National Forest. The Buford Road, going north, starts at 7th Street and leads you up and into the Cline Top or Flat Top areas (9,000 to 11,000 ft elevation). Buford road ends up at the town of Buford on the White River,
and then if you would like, you can continue on into
Meeker, Colorado along the White River or up to Trappers Lake. To the South of New Castle there is Garfield Creek and Divide Creek Road leading to the Four Mile Area where Teddy Roosevelt hunted bears and mountain lions. Travel Time Info:
